Rates
Proofreading and Copy-editing is
charged on a per hour basis. As a rough guide, it takes
approximately one hour to Double Check 2,000 words. In order to give you
an estimate, please send a two or three page sample of
your work to info@doublecheckit.co.nz

Proofreading / Copy-edit:
$35 per hour (excl GST)

Writing: $45 per hour
(excl GST)

Proofreading: this entails
checking for spelling and basic grammar errors.
Copy-editing: checking for misused words ('there' instead of 'their' for
example), consistency in spelling or formatting and suggestions for improvement of
sentence flow.
We also check for consistency in
headings and layout.
